What is up or Down
Well I was a little happy this week I was able to get to the Y for 4 days straight and in that 4 days I had 2 Leg workouts NOT A GOOD THING…. The Adductor Machine is KILLER on the legs. If there is one thing I dread more than those Torture Floor Exercises called CRUNCHES the ADDUCTOR is a a close second.
I did weigh in and finally hit one goal of at least getting down to the 3 century mark… For those going whaaaaaa..that is 300 lbs even. Still a long way to go but at least that is one point made now to try and get well below that. Need to set a target weight for next goal but trying to decide if it should be 10 or 15 lbs.When I make it wonder how I can treat myself….. How about a box of Krispy Kreme donuts???? NOPE better not do that but will come up with something good to do or have that will not hurt me ….Much if any….
Here we are in Week 8 and only a few weeks left to go. I am still trying to get to the point of doing a 5k in less than an hour and earlier this week ended up doing 4.12 miles in just over 1 hour and 25 minutes. May not be at the 3.1 miles in an hour but that is really not bad considering where I was just over 8 weeks ago.
I am thinking of signing up for another 5k that is a couple of weeks after the one on 4/18 but I know I will still need to train and we are looking at Joining the Y after this adventure is over with #RBL2015. The staff and the people that go to the Y in TR are some GREAT people and they have been great to get to know and talk to.
