Praise God – The Source Of Our Strength

Today’s word is “praise.” Did anything happen today that caused you to “praise” God? Did someone give you a word of  encouragement? Did you enjoy the beautiful weather? Did anyone give you a hug? Throughout the day, I was looking heavenward and praising God for all the gifts that He has given me.  I was able to spend some time with a special friend.  We laughed and cried.  God was in the midst of our conversation and I felt like praising God for our friendship.  I also felt confident during my resistance workout today.  I remember how difficult it was for me on my first visit to the gym. Today, God encouraged me to push myself and work steadily through my workout.  Exodus 15:2 affirms the necessity for each of us to praise God at all times: “The Lord is my strength and my song.  He has become my salvation.  He is my God and I will praise Him.”  I pray that God will show you many things for which you can praise Him. Blessings, Linda
