My first @home workout (before and after)
I set my appointment in my calendar and my alarm in my phone to workout right after dishes are done from our evening meal. No Excuses-thanks Doug! I want to make that time a habit established in my mind. My running clothes are set out and water is in the sports bottle. I was a bit sore after the first get-together at the YMCA but I am ready for this. Change starts now! Thanks to HIS Radio for the opportunity and Rob for being a great source of inspiration to us. It is nice to know there are seventy people taking our first steps together.
11 No discipline is enjoyable while it is happening- it’s painful! But afterward there will be a peaceful harvest of right living for those who are trained this way.
12 So take a new grip with your tired hands and strengthen your week knees. 13 Mark out a straight path for your feet so that those who are weak and lame will not fall but become strong.
I completed two miles. Blessings to all in the same boat!
“Running is a road to self-awareness and reliance-you can push yourself to extremes and learn the harsh reality of your physical and mental limitations or coast quietly down a solitary path watching the earth spin beneath your feet.”-Doris Brown Heritage
