How to get started?

So, I went into this journey excited and scared but I knew I had a mission, A mission to regain my life! I have 6 kids and a wife that I absolutely adore but because of the weight I had become a lazy dad.  This first week has become a huge challenge for me, I am associate minister at my church and have all kinds of after work activities with the kids and the church. I tried to go to the Y early in the am, however, that showed to be a complete disaster, I think I love sleep too well. The time that works better for me is after work but I need to set aside some time to get there. I don’t mind working out, mu issue is EATING!!!! I love to eat, I can tell you what’s good at just about every restaurant in Greenville County. So my challenge this week has been what to eat, needless to say I have not totally figured that out yet. It is still a huge challenge that I must conquer. I am not a happy camper when I am hungry, ask my wife! lol. Though I found this week to be a challenge I maintain my positive thinking, I WILL regain my life! With God ALL things are possible.

  1. I love to eat too! I started the whole 30 plan and I’m not hungry and you get to eat good food. You can have meat, eggs, vegetables and fruit. No bread, no sugar, no fake sugars, etc. I’ve lost 5 lbs already and I’m not craving snacking, so for that I’m thankful. I’m still trying to increase my water intake, but I have decreased my coffee so that’s huge for me. Let me know if I can be of help. You can do this for you! You are worth it.
