As many people, I have a lot on my plate. I work an hour away from home. I teach 5th grade, I’m taking graduate classes, and I have a 7-year-old daughter, and a new puppy… and now I’m going to the gym 4 days a week.
I’m lucky to have a very understanding family. Unlike my husband’s job, when I leave work, I can’t leave it behind. I have papers to grade, lessons to write, and parents to email. There is a lot of work to be done. But I also have a family. When I get home, I cook supper and spend time with my family. After they go to bed, there is always something to clean or wash. Then I start my work.
Now we try to eat no later than 6:30, but when I have to work late into the night, I find myself getting hungry. I am having trouble finding healthy snacks in my house. I have bought some carrots to crunch on. Can anyone tell me what id there on-the-go healthy snack?
