Found out today I have a stress fracture, so I am in a boot for at least a few weeks. I will just need to adjust my exercises to accommodate this beautiful boot I will be sporting for the time being. Praying for quick healing, so I can continue training to run the 5k.

Try water aerobics I’m doing deep water (they have flotation belts) exercises to keep pressure off my shin splint and it makes me feel like I’m exercising while not injuring myself any worse. My Y has evening classes m-th and a saturday morning class. I’m headed to the doctor this afternoon to make sure mine isn’t a stress fracture. I’ll be praying that you heal quickly.
How awful but at least you found out before doing too much damage! Take care of yourself and rock that boot! 😉
