My heart is overwhelmed as I think back to the day I got THE call telling me I’d been selected to join RBL.  I cried!  I knew it’d been way too long since I even cared and this was God’s wake-up call to me!  He gave me structure and accountability at the same time!

Giving up the little things

I’m happy to report that I am now a RECOVERING saltaholic!  It’s the craziest thing how easy I’ve found not salting everything like I used to!  And I’ve even given up sweet tea!  I think the pounds should be falling off (they’re not) but I know that I’m doing those little things for my overall health and it feels good!

Small meals throughout the day

Yep, it works!  I used to think I shouldn’t eat between meals because of the “added calories” but have learned that when I do grab small bites here and there it keeps me from attacking the fridge if I don’t!  I’m stocking lowfat cottage cheese because I love the convenient little containers that help me not overeat.

I’m happy to report these small bites are helping a lot!  Don’t mess with a woman when she’s hungry!
